Book Review: Frizzy by Claribel A. Ortega & Rose Bousamra

Today, I am going to be writing about a great book called Frizzy. It is about a Dominican girl, Marlene, who is probably 12 or 13, who learns to embrace her curly hair. The graphic novel is about how Marlene has to go to a salon to get her hair straightened and how much she hates it. With her aunt teaching her, she learns how to take care of her curls and embrace them.

This is a great graphic novel and I definitely recommend it.
